Overall workshop design and consultation
Supply of:
On-site project management of workshop equipment and set-up
Creation of a spare parts database for ease of inventory management and efficient re-ordering
Commissioning of all installed equipment and systems
Over 20 hours of technical training with personnel on correct operation of equipment
UNIPAC was engaged for end-to-end design, supply and project management of a new LV-MV workshop to support the mine’s 24-hour operational requirements. The workshop was designed to allow for efficient drive-through service for vehicles to maximise throughput. The plans included a separate spare parts warehouse for quick and convenient replacement and repairs to minimise equipment downtime in the event of plant breakdown.
After designing the facility and supplying all necessary equipment, UNIPAC technical advisors stayed on site during the tenure of the project to oversee installation. Full commissioning and technical training was also conducted with the client’s on-site personnel to ensure safe and efficient use of all equipment. These systems continue to allow FQML to minimise downtime and maintain continuous operations.
